Michelle Edmond

Chief Engagement Officer

Regional

Michelle Edmond knows that food is such an important part of our existence because it brings people together and is important in relationships. This was enough for her to want to pursue some aspect of food on a professional level. She worked for the casual dining guru and co-founder of Chili’s, Larry Levine and served as General Manager for a concept based out of California, JoJo’s and Coco’s. Opening the School Nutrition Program for ARAMARK in Newark, New Jersey as a Director proved to be challenging, enlightening and the experience of a lifetime. She learned that a pie means pizza, in the East they use the words stuffing and dressing interchangeably, and no one knew what Frito Pie was. The operational experience prepared her for Human Resources because those transferable skills; problem solving, flexibility, diligence and the importance of being customer centric all are a part of People Operations.
